375th AMW simulates compliance inspection Published June 9, 2011 By Airman 1st Class Jacob Eckhardt 375th Air Mobility Wing Public Affairs SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. -- The 375th Air Mobility Wing Mock Compliance Inspection was held May 31 through June 3 at Scott Air Force Base. The simulated inspection helped prepare the wing for its Compliance Inspection to be conducted Aug. 22-29. Each section of the wing was under close observation to ensure every last detail complied with the standards that will be under review during the upcoming inspection. The personnel of each facility were questioned about all possible aspects of their job and the AFI governing their programs. They checked to see that all information was correctly documented, all personnel completed mandatory training, and that all servicemembers were compliant with AFI requirements throughout their day-today work. The inspectors explained to each workcenter what to expect during the real inspection. They mentored staff on what to say and how in depth they should talk about their programs. The inspection in August will be done by a team of 90 inspectors of both master sergeants and above and captains and above. "The things they will be looking for initially is to make sure that we are in compliance with the questions that are on the checklist," said an inspector for the 375th Air Mobility Wing Mock Compliance Inspection. "The other thing is inspecting and making sure that they understand beyond the checklist what connects with the AFI and the day-to-day job that they do. "If we continue to stay on the course that we are on, and stay positive, we will be just fine," said Maj. Tracey Bryant. "We are confident we will pass--looking for excellent and outstanding."
