FIREWORKS SAFETY Fireworks are often part of Fourth of July celebrations, but backyard fireworks displays can be extremely hazardous. Every year thousands of Americans, mostly children, are hurt by consumer fireworks such as sparklers and firecrackers. It's always best to attend a professional fireworks display hosted by a local municipality in order to have a safe and enjoyable firework display. Fireworks on Scott AFB are prohibited.
