TRAFFIC FLOW CHANGE

Effective Immediately - Traffic traveling south on Scott Drive is no longer allowed to turn "Right on Red" onto West Winters Street. Questions may be directed to the 375 AMW Safety Office at 256-6311.

CYBER COMPLIANCE READINESS INSPECTION (CCRI) - 1-5 AUG
USCYBERCOM will be visiting Scott AFB to conduct the CCRI. During this "Cyber ORI," inspectors will be evaluating more than just network security...a major portion of the grade will be on traditional/physical security measures. A successful inspection requires the effort of ALL Scott personnel. Please continue to exercise good security measures (OPSEC,COMSEC, etc.) and remain vigilant. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the inspection, contact your unit security manager.

ARMED FORCE CLASSIFICATION TEST (ASAVAB Equivalent) - 3, 16, 30 AUG AND 15 SEP
Due to additional demand as a result of AF Special Duty Screening Team Visit and other AF retraining initiatives, the Base Testing Office has added two additional AFCT testing dates. All AFCT exams begin sharply at 0800. Call Base Testing at 256-5290/6364 for more info.

375 AMW RUN/COMMANDER'S CHALLENGE - 19 AUG
Please join Colonel Hornitschek, 375 AMW/CC, on 19 Aug for the 375 AMW Run and Commander's Challenge. Please form up on the parade field at 0645, stretching will begin at 0700. PRODUCTIVITY ENHANCING CAPITAL INVESTMENT (PECI) PROGRAM
Commanders-do you need dollars for equipment purchases? The PECI program provides funding to purchase readily available off-the-shelf technology to improve combat readiness, enhance unit capability, and conserve resources. FASCAP is for capital equipment investments under $250K and requires MAJCOM approval. PIF is for equipment and facilities investments over $250K and requires Air Force approval. SAVE THE DATE - 9/11 REMEMBRANCE CEREMONY
Team Scott is planning to conduct a 5K run and ceremony as part of the 10th Anniversary of the 9/11. On Sunday, 11 Sep, the event will begin at 1530 with "A Run to Remember" where a piece of the World Trade Center will complete its journey to Scott AFB in a 5K run whereby each service of the United States Armed Forces will participate with First Responders in bringing the artifact to its final resting place in front of the 375th AMW Headquarters. The ceremony will conclude with the formal acceptance of the World Trade Center Artifact by Col. Michael Hornitschek, 375th AMW Commander. PASSENGER TERMINAL RELOCATIONS
As a reminder, the Scott AFB Passenger Terminal is undergoing extensive remodeling. In an effort to provide continued and excellent customer service, all terminal operations have relocated to the O'Fallon dormitory, Bldg. 1810, 419 West Drive, SAFB. Winggate (Commercial Travel Office) and Passenger Travel, have been relocated to building P-10 and are now collocated within the 375th LRS, Transportation Management Office, room D103, during the renovation. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The expected renovation completion time is February 2012. If there are any questions, please call the Passenger Terminal at 256-3017, Winggate Travel at 256-5397, or Passenger Travel at 256-5785. We thank you for your patience as we make these necessary improvements to the Scott AFB Passenger Terminal.

SKY DIVING ADVENTURE - 30 JUL
Have you ever wanted to jump out of a plane? Ever wanted the wind rushing past your face at speeds of over 100mph? Then join Outdoor Recreation for an opportunity to do a Static Line Sky Dive on Saturday, 30 July. A Static Line Jump is a solo jump, where the parachute is deployed by a line attached to the aircraft. Cost for this extreme adventure is $196/person, which includes transportation, training, equipment, debrief, certificate and logbook for steps toward earning a USPA license. JUNIOR GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP - 1-2 AUG
Cardinal Creek Golf Course is hosting a Junior Individual Stroke Play Golf Championship 1-2 Aug with morning tee times starting at 0900. There are separate age divisions for children ages 8 through 17. Age groups consist of 8 & 9 (9 holes shortened), 10 & 11 (9 holes forward tees), 12 & 13 (18 holes forward tees), 14 & 15 (18 holes regular tees) and 16 & 17 (18 holes regular tees). Cost is $30/person for children ages 8 to 17. Fee includes greens fees, lunch, beverages and prizes. Call 744-1400 for more information.

GOLF 4 KIDS - BEGINS 4 AUG
The Golf 4 Kids life skills experience is a curriculum for teaching character education and life skills through the game of golf. Back by popular demand, the 2011 program will run every Tuesday and Thursday, 4 Aug through 25 Aug for children ages 7-16. Age groups are as follows: 7- 9 (0900-0955), 10-12 (1000-1055) and 13-16 (1100-1155). Cost is $75 and includes seven lessons, clubs (if needed), range ball plus much more. Registration will take place in the Pro Shop at the Cardinal Creek Golf Course. The POC for this clinic is Terence C. BOAT REGATTA - 5 AUG
Outdoor Recreation is calling all captains and first mates to participate in The Great Cardboard Boat Regatta! Set sail with us Friday, 5 Aug. from 1100 to 1300 at the James Sports Center Pool. Squadrons/organizations/groups are asked to form a team of at least two, to participate in the Regatta for chances to WIN CASH PRIZES (FSS Bucks) to be used toward your squadron party! SUPERINTENDENT'S REVENGE TOURNAMENT - 6 AUG
Cardinal Creek Golf Course has scheduled its annual Superintendent's Revenge Tournament for Saturday, 6 Aug with a 0800 shotgun start. This tournament is a four person scramble. Pins and tee markers will be set up in tough spots! Entry fee is $45 per person, $30 per Annual Fee Payer & $20 per Eagle Annual Fee Payer. ADULT/YOUTH BASE-WIDE SWIM MEET - 6 AUG
Outdoor Recreation and the Fitness Center will be hosting a Base-Wide Swim Meet on Saturday, Aug. 6 at the Fitness Center Pool. The meet will begin at 0900, with warm-ups beginning at 0830. This swim meet is a free event and each swimmer may participate in up to 5 individual events and one relay. Age groups for this event will be 10 & under, 11-12 yrs old, 13-14 yrs old, Adults 15-35 yrs old and Seniors over 35, plus relays. All ages will be as of the day of the meet. Entry forms are available at Outdoor Recreation, Bldg. 3176 or the Fitness Center, Bldg. P6. Deck entries will be taken until 0830 the same morning.
