Passes now required to enter Scott School Gate Published Jan. 4, 2012 375th Security Forces Squadron SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. -- The 375th Security Forces Squadron, Scott Elementary, and the Scott AFB Youth Center have developed a pass system for the Scott School Gate. Starting Jan. 16, parents dropping off students at either Scott Elementary or the Youth Center will be required to obtain a pass to enter Scott School Gate. In addition, parents entering Scott School Gate from Paul Revere Road will not be allowed to make the left turn after entering the School Gate. This procedure will prevent traffic back-ups and ensures school buses are allowed immediate access to the drop-off point. The passes for Scott Elementary parents will be available through Friday and will be issued by school administrators. More information about obtaining Scott Elementary School passes will be forthcoming through school channels. Passes for Scott AFB youth center parents are currently available through the Youth Center and can be picked-up during hours of operation. As a reminder, gate hours of operation are 6:45-8:30 a.m., 10:30-11 a.m., 12:15-12:45 p.m., and 2:30-4 p.m. on Monday, Thursday, and Friday, with the afternoon extended to 2:30-4:30 on Tuesday and Wednesday. The Scott School Gate is only authorized for parents dropping off students at Scott Elementary or the Youth Center. Violators will be turned around.
