Situation on base terminated Published March 21, 2012 By 375th Air Mobility Wing Public Affairs SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. -- Members of the 375th Security Forces Squadron responded today at 8:45 a.m. to a possible security situation at the Mascoutah Gate. A commercial moving vehicle tested positive for a possible indication of nitrates, and military working dogs and SFS personnel are on scene investigating. No evacuations have been ordered at this time, however there has been one office building that has conducted voluntary evacuation. Further investigation revealed negative findings. The situation is terminated.
