Col. Kyle Kremer will assume command of the 375th Air Mobility Wing from Col. David Almand during a change of command ceremony at 10 a.m. Friday, at the parade field. In case of inclement weather, it will be moved to Hangar 1.

Kremer arrives with his wife, Debra, and children, Mikayla and Abbey, from McConnell Air Force Base, Kan., where he served as the vice commander for the 22nd Air Refueling Wing.

Almand and his family will be going to 89th Airlift Wing at Joint Base Andrews, Md., where he will be serving as the wing commander.

Kremer is a distinguished graduate of the Reserve Officer Training Corps at the University of Central Florida and is a command pilot with more than 2,500 flight hours. He has served multiple staff tours including Chief of C-5 Modernization Programs, and as Senior Leader Management chief at Headquarters Air Mobility Command. He has also served as the Joint Staff Directorate for Logistics, Distribution Division chief at the Pentagon.

Due to extremely limited parking around the Parade Field, the 375th Logistics Readiness Squadron will be running a shuttle service to and from the ceremony. Buses will shuttle between the Scott Club and the Parade Field between 9-9:45 a.m. Buses will return to the club after the ceremony.
