Honoring the life, service of MWD Satin Published Oct. 19, 2017 By Senior Airman Tristin English 375th Air Mobility Wing Public Affairs SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. -- Security Forces personnel and those who knew Military Working Dog Satin N591 held a memorial service to honor his service and his life, Oct. 12, 2017, at Scott Air Force Base, Ill. He fortunately was able to enjoy some retirement life thanks to an adoptive family before losing his battle with cancer. He protected the President of the United States and many other important world leaders. He protected service members and he did it well. "This guy was a beast on detection and would sink his teeth in you as well," said Tech. Sgt. Bryan Dell, 375th Security Forces Squadron. Satin served two overseas tours in Afghanistan and Qatar.
