Making Global Reach a Reality, One Channel at a Time
Capt. Chris Gray explains the capabilities of the 730th Air Mobility Squadron Detachment 2 at Paya Lebar Air Base, Singapore to Global Channel Operations Directorate (XOG) commercial and offshore cargo bookies from the 618th Air Operations Center, Scott AFB, Ill 24 Aug. 2018. XOG maintains XX channel routes, similar to the Pacific channel route which begins at Travis Air Force Base, California. Personnel and cargo are then transported to Elmendorf AFB, Alaska; Yokota Air Base, Japan; Paya Lebar AB, Singapore; and end at Navy Support Facility, Diego Garcia.
