Scott performs hot pit refueling
Tom “Scrappy” Oleary, 375th Operations Support Squadron transient alert aircraft servicer, connects a refueling hose to the fuel tank during a U.S. Navy E-2D Hawkeye hot pit refueling, Jan. 24, 2018, at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. Because of Scott’s central location in the Midwest, it is a convenient spot for aircraft to stop to refuel during coast-to-coast flights. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Tara Stetler)
