Tyran, his mother, Tech. Sgt. Shonda Blanks, 375th Operations Support Squadron commander’s support staff NCOIC, and his sisters Iyana and Nyla did things together as a family, including attending Cardinals games. Blanks said spending time together was and is always important. “After she passed [Tyran] was telling me as he pulled his other sister close and everybody was crying and upset, ‘We just gotta go hard for Iyana,’” said Blanks. “So that’s kind of been my mantra for myself - go hard for her. And that’s another reason why I say, ‘Okay, how can I contribute to her legacy?’” (Photo courtesy)
