375th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron trains Department of Veteran Affairs personnel
Capt. Kevin Holden, 375th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron flight nurse, gives guidance on military litters during training with U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs personnel June 7, 2016 at the MidAmerica St. Louis Airport in Mascoutah, Illinois. Litters are used to transport patients from one location to another safely, so they can receive proper medical treatment. Since the DVA works with military entities during natural disasters and other emergency situations, the training familiarized the civilians on equipment the military uses.
