Chris Nation, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs nuclear medicine technician, and Meghan Leach, DMV polytrauma social worker, practice litter transportation during training June 7, 2016 at the MidAmerica St. Louis Airport in Mascoutah, Illinois. 375th AES servicemembers taught DVA personnel on different types of military equipment, because during natural disasters and emergency situations, DMV and other civilian entities will often work with the military to get patients to safe locations.
