Scott AFB breaks ground on new Visiting Quarters
Participants of the Visitors Quarters groundbreaking toss a shovel-full of dirt to signify the beginning of construction March 11, 2016, at Scott Air Force Base, Ill. The building will replace the Scott Inn on Scott Drive. The six-story building will have 284 rooms, a 142-stall parking lot, 17 suites, conference rooms, a fitness facility, and a coffee shop.
