Official storm spotter training class hosted at Scott
The 15th Operational Weather Squadron hosted a severe storm spotter training for members of Team Scott Dec. 4, 2014 at Scott Air Force Base, Ill. The course teaches individuals the basics of thunderstorm development, storm structure, what features to look for and where to find them. After attending the training, individuals were offered the opportunity to become volunteer weather spotters for the National Weather Service in the local area.
