Book club meets at Scott library
Liz Carpenter, Michelle Franks, Susan Fowler and Erika Huerta-Garlington discuss their favorite recently read books during the monthly book discussion group at the library, Scott Air Force Base, Ill., Aug. 27, 2014. They talked through questions they have about the book and analyze the topic, through sharing personal experiences and opinions, they have the opportunity to see how others may feel about the book. The book they discussed this month was 'The Reason I Jump' by Naoki Higashida, which is a memoir from a Japanese autistic boy. Next month's book is 'The Kitchen House' by Kathleen Grissom.
