Mary Warford, 932nd Airlift Wing reservist, and Airman 1st Class Mary Fischer, a 375th Civil Engineer firefighter, work together to secure a ladder before climbing to the roof during training at the fire department Aug. 15, 2014 at Scott Air Force Base, Ill. Training for firefighters consist of climbing the ladder truck to check the roof or to climb on top of a building, learning how to use ropes to hoist equipment up that is needed.
