Meet retired Air Force Tech. Sgt. Walter Monahan

Retired Technical Sgt. Walter Monahan, a volunteer in the Scott Retiree Activities Office, answers a question about how to sign up for TRICARE Prime. Monahan is one a handful of volunteers at the RAO that helps retirees and their families find what information they need. He has long known Scott AFB, starting when he was stationed here in 1948 for radio communications school. One of his favorite jobs while active duty was teaching the new Airmen of the air traffic control specialty. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Erica Crossen)
