Sexual assault awareness 5K run/walk well attended
The 325 participants began the 5k run April 25, 2014 at Scott Air Force Base, Ill. Some participants wore the color teal to represent sexual assault awareness and prevention. Medals were also given to fastest female and male, first participant to show up, youngest participant, and many more. "Not only did units show up in full teal force, their commanders were right there with them," said 1st Lt. Danielle Duso, the deputy Sexual Assault Response Coordinator.
