Scott personnel interact with health care companies at Fitness Fair

Alicia Becker completes a forced vital capacity test during the fitness fair at Scott Air Force Base, Ill., May 9, 2014. During the test, patients seal their lips around the mouthpiece, and after inhaling as much as they can, they exhale fully, as hard as they can, for at least six seconds, followed by deeply inhaling. This tests a person’s lung function and the amount of air a person can exhale with force. Becker is a Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization contract specialist.
