Base marks National Transportation Week
Airman 1st Class briefs about a 10K forklift during a static display at Scott Air Force Base, Ill., May 12, 2014. The vehicle is used to move up to 10,000 pounds of oversized cargo. To commemorate National Transportation Week, the base is hosting a number of events from May 12-16, including transportation demonstrations of the vehicles from the static display and a 5K walk/run to honor fallen transportation personnel.
