Base marks National Transportation Week
Runners begin their 3-mile run during the 1st Annual Team Scott Port Dawg Memorial 5K at Scott Air Force Base, Ill., May 12, 2014. The run was to remember 16 fallen port dawgs. To commemorate National Transportation Week, the base is hosting a number of events from May 12-16, including transportation demonstrations of the vehicles from the static display and a 5K walk/run to honor fallen transportation personnel.
