PERK UP!
SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. -- With a snip of the scissors, Col. Stephen Oliver, 375th Airlift Wing vice commander, ceremonially opened Pronto Pizza now with a Starbucks. Pronto Pizza had been closed for several weeks for renovations and the inclusion of Starbucks in Rockwell Hall. In addition to the coffee confections, patrons can also treat their sweet tooth with delicacies from the Cheesecake Factory. Colonel Oliver was joined in the ribbon cutting by Starbucks manager Helen Ledgewood, Col. Melissa Applegate (left), 375th Mission Support Group commander, Maj. Tim Sites (right), 375th Services Squadron commander, Starbucks employees and the 375th Services Squadron mascot Colonel Kernel. (US Air Force photo/Senior Airman Jonathan Lovelady)
