Tour visits Scott in hopes of saving lives
First Lt. Daniel Hoffman, 375th Communications Support Squadron executive, participates in a simulator designed to show the effects of drunk driving during the Save a Life tour Sept. 4 at the Scott Club. The simulator had all the amenities of a real car. The driver had four minutes to reach their destination safely and without getting pulled over, but the trick was that the car "got drunk" every 20 seconds making it difficult to maneuver. The goal is to educate Airman to avoid the loss of any Airman to drunk driving. (U.S. Air Force photo/Airman 1st Class Amber Kelly-Woodward)
