Airpark planes on the move
Crew cheif from the 126th Air Refueling Wing, Master Sgt. Mike Rasmussen, guides the C-141B from the Hangar as Master Sergeants Phil Becerras (right) and Kris Randolph tow the historic behemoth to its final resting place in the Scott Field Heritage Airpark Tuesday morning. The 126th ARW has been working on the aircraft for about the last month rapairing it to match a paint scheme from the Vietnam War era, when it was used to transport American prisoners of war home during the Hanoi Airlift. The B-model is the first of five planes to be placed in the airpark. (U.S. Air Force photo/ Monte Miller)
