Not just gate guards/ Civilian officers hit the streets

SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. -- New civilian security forces officers (left to right) Chuck Thompson, Darryl Little and Ken Mosby are among 24 officers that began working regular shifts on Scott Air Force Base Sunday. The civilians were hired on a permanent basis to alleviate short staffing as security forces personnel are deployed. The same program is being undertaken throughout Air Mobility Command.
