SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. -- JTF Scott couples write letters to their spouses about things that they do not necessarily like, but accept about their spouse and things that they appreciate about their spouse and then read them aloud to their spouses. Couples with various years of marriage and even spouses attending alone invested time in enhancing their marriages at the “Building a Strong Marriage Team” seminar, which is part of the Marriage Enrichment Program, Oct. 9 at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows in Belleville, Ill. Attendees spent the day learning from Chaplain (Capt.) Neely Brown, 375th Airlift Wing Reserve chaplain, about their personality types, what their responsibilities are in a marriage and the importance of spending time together in building marriages.
