Supply Corps birthday

SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. -- Lieutenant J.G. Quentin Lease of Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command, retired Vice Adm. Keith Lippert and Capt. Allan Stanczak of U.S. Transportation Command cut a cake Feb. 20 in celebration of the Supply Corps’ 214th birthday. Mr. Lippert was the 41st chief of the Supply Corps from 1997 to 1999. The Saint Louis Area Supply Corps Association was established Jan. 5 this year and is comprised of 37 Supply Corps officers in the St. Louis area. Members range in rank from ensign to two-star admiral. Primary commands represented are USTRANSCOM, SDDC and the Defense Contracting Management Agency/Boeing, St. Louis. The organization hosted its first official luncheon Feb. 20 at the USTRANSCOM in celebration of the Supply Corps' 214th Birthday. (Photo by Bob Fehringer)
