The USO at Lambert Airport in St. Louis re-opened June 3, 2009, after $300,000 worth of renovations gifted through the efforts of Dave Glover, 97.1 FM radio talk show host, and Marc Bulger, St. Louis Rams. Citing that "nothing is too good for our troops" the two gentlement headed fundraising effort for the renovations that feature a child play/sleeping area, cyber cafe, gaming room, expanded media room, remodeled canteen and dining area, changing room and a larger luggae storage area. Representing the base was Col. Gary Goldstone, 375th Airlift Wing commander, who said the USO is a home to our troops wherever it may be and thanked them for their continued support of the nation's servicemembers.
