A regal welcome for the C-40C
Gen. Duncan McNabb, Air Mobility Command commander, Lt. Gen. John Bradley, Air Force Reserve Command commander, Lt. Gen. (ret.) Ron Marcotte, Boeing representative, Col. Maryanne Miller, 932nd Airlift Wing commander, and Col. Al Hunt, 375th Airlift Wing commander, descend the staircase of Scott Air Force Base’s newest aircraft, the C-40C, Monday. This is the first of three C-40Cs to be welcomed by the 932nd AW. The new aircraft will exponentially increase the wing’s distinguished visitor transport mission, which includes airlifting dignitaries including the first lady, the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff, senators, congressmen and other military and government officials.
