Solving communication issues one Cable Dawg at a time.

SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill --Airman 1st Class Brad Jacobs unlocks the second cover for a communications manhole. Airman Jacobs will need to get into the manhole to check the cables that run underground from the new CDC building March 2, 2010. The 375th Communication Squadron's cable maintenance element or Cable Dawgs are a vital to providing communication capability for Scott Air Force Base. The Cable Dawgs are charged with sustaining the voice systems in support of US Transportation Command, Air Mobility Command headquarters, 18th Air Force, 618th Tanker Airlift Control Center, three flying wings and more than 50 associate units.
