New Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron building opened
Illinois Congressman Jerry Costello speaks with an Airman about some of the specialty equipment the 375th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron will store in their new facility at Scott Air Force Base, Ill., Feb. 6, 2012. Costello was on hand to assist in the ribbon cutting ceremony for the 21,500 sq. ft. building and was instrumental in securing $7.4 million in Military Construction funding. This building houses 163 active-duty, Guard and Reserve AE personnel whose mission is to transport the wounded from the battlefield to their home station.
