Colonel RAYMOND CLYDESDALE

Colonel (Dr.) Raymond J. Clydesdale is the Commander, 375th Medical Group, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. In this role, he is responsible for the healthcare delivered to over 60,000 beneficiaries by 588 military, civilian, and contract personnel while also executing a unique military-civilian family medicine residency program. The group supports the diverse mission set of the 375th Air Mobility Wing and 33 mission partners to include Air Mobility Command, U.S. Transportation Command, and 18th Air Force Headquarters.
Colonel Clydesdale entered active duty in 2002, completed two operational flight surgeon tours, and graduated from the Air Force Residency in Aerospace Medicine. He previously commanded at the squadron and group levels, served as the National Defense University Command Surgeon, and the Deputy Command Surgeon for United States Space Force. Colonel Clydesdale is board-certified in aerospace and occupational medicine.
