Airmen assigned to the 375th Logistics Readiness Squadron assist an Airman with gathering the needed items for a mobility exercise in the Individual Protective Equipment warehouse on Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, Jan. 23, 2019. During the MOBEX, the wing was tested on its ability to deploy nearly 250 Airmen. Part of this training requires Airmen to be issued gear they would need in a deployed location. The warehouse holds enough gear to outfit 5,760 Airmen at any given time.

This stage of the exercise requires close coordination between the 375th MDSS and the 375th Logistics Readiness Squadron, whose air and ground transportation crews ensure the cargo is properly palletized for safe loading onto aircraft.

Along with personnel, members of the 375th LRS’s ground and air transportation crews are responsible for all loading and unloading of cargo that Airmen would need in a deployed location. This cargo can include medical supplies, personnel files, vehicles and bare base equipment.
