Gen. Maryanne Miller become first four-star general in the Air Force Reserve

Gen. Maryanne Miller, incoming Air Mobility Command commander, receives the oath of office from Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. David L. Goldfein during a promotion ceremony at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, Sept. 7, 2018. Previous to this assignment, Miller served as the commander of Air Force Reserve Command and chief of the Air Force Reserve. Miller became the first Reserve Airman to become a four-star general and the first Reserve Airman to command an Air Force major command outside of AFRC.
