Colonel Christopher M. Robinson is the Commander, 375th Air Mobility Wing, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.  He leads more than 3,100 personnel who provide aeromedical evacuation for patients, operational support airlift for high priority passengers, and ensure the nation’s global reach through air refueling.  The 375th Air Mobility Wing also provides showcase support to 36 mission partners including United States Transportation Command, Air Mobility Command, and the Eighteenth Air Force, totaling more than 13,000 active-duty, Guard, Reserve, Department of Defense civilians, and contract personnel.

Colonel Robinson received his commission from the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 1999.  As a dual rated aviator, he has served in a variety of positions at the Squadron, Wing, Major Command, Headquarters Air Force, and Combatant Command levels.  He is a senior pilot who has logged over 2,800 hours and has deployed ten times in support of Operations Southern Watch, Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom, Inherent Resolve, and Freedom’s Sentinel.  Prior to assuming his current position, he served as the Vice Commander, 437th Airlift Wing.  He was responsible for deploying Airmen and aircraft worldwide to provide airland and airdrop delivery of forces, equipment, and supplies. These missions supported combat operations, Joint Chiefs of Staff-directed special operations missions, and U.S humanitarian relief efforts.
