AF Ball car wash
SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. --Tech. Sgt. Juan Ives and Senior Airman Christina Johnson of the 375th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron signal drivers into an Air Force Ball fundraiser car wash in Fairview Heights Saturday. The car wash is one of many different events planned to help offset ticket prices for the 2009 Air Force Ball, scheduled for Sept. 12 at the Scott Club. The committee’s goal is to get the price down to $25 per ticket--half the price of last year’s event. Some other planned fundraising events include Cardinal’s games, bowling tournaments and golf tournaments. The theme of this year’s event is "The Year of the Tanker."(U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Megan Gilliland)
