FACILITY TRANSITION FROM COOLING TO HEATING
From 15 Oct to 15 Nov, 375 CES will begin transitioning facilities from cooling to heating. During this transition period, facilities may experience a number of days without cooling or heating capability, depending on the type of system supporting it, as CES personnel prepare equipment to ensure proper operation of heating systems for the upcoming winter season. Certain facilities are exempted from the no heat/no cool policy and generally include dormitories, child development centers, command/control facilities, computer network workcenters, and headquarters facilities. FLU SHOTS - 26 OCT
The 375th Allergy/Immunizations Clinic will be conducting mass influenza vaccinations for Active Duty personnel at Rockwell Hall on Oct 26 from 0800-1530. All Squadrons should encourage their members who have not yet received their vaccination to make this date. If you have any questions feel free to contact the Allergy/Immunizations clinic at 256-2676. After 90% of active duty members are immunized, all others will follow, with a planned start date of Nov. 1.

CGO BOARD FEEDBACK - 26 OCT
A briefing titled, "Captain Central Selection Board Feedback" is Wednesday, 26 Oct at 1300 in the 375 AMW (Building P-3) conference room to discuss the latest promotion board for Captains. It will be hosted by MSG/CC Col Mark Whinnery, who recently was on this board. It's information great for any CGO, but especially for all Lts.

WING FUN RUN - 28 OCT
Everyone is welcome to attend the next wing 2-mile fun run on 28 Oct, and forming up at the parade field at 1500. Safe and appropriate Halloween-inspired costumes are encouraged, but civilian PT gear may be worn in lieu of a costume. There will be a best costume competition and recognition for the unit with the most participation at the conclusion of the event!

LEGAL PRESENTATION - 3 NOV
Come bring your Professional Military Education to life! On 3 Nov, the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces will be at Scott to hear oral arguments in United States v. Fry. Oral arguments will begin at 0915 at the Global Reach Planning Center. 375 AMW/JA will provide an overview of the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces which will be followed by oral arguments and Q&A with the judges. HALLOWEEN "PUMPKIN PATROL" - NEED VOLUNTEERS

BYSTANDER INTERVENTION TRAINING
Sexual Assault Bystander Intervention training is mandatory training for active duty Air Force personnel to include DoD civilians who supervise active duty Air Force. Suspense to complete this training is May 1, 2012. Training is offered at the Ed & Trng Bldg 1650 Rm 98 on TU, TH, and FRI. SUPPLY TRAINING
Block I, Base Supply Orientation, will be held on Wednesdays, 2 Nov, and 16 Nov for all new unit supply, bench stock, and repair cycle managers. Classes are held at Bldg 4001, LRS Conference Room, from 0800-1000. E-mail requests for training to LRS Base Supply Customer Support, 375LRS/LGRMCC@us.af.mil.

Block III, Equipment Custodian Local Procedures, will be held on Wednesdays, 26 Oct 11, 9 Nov, and 23 Nov. Classes are held at Bldg 4001, LRS Conference Room from 0800-1100. WANTED: INFORMATION
The 375th Security Forces Squadron in seeking information on damage to Green #5 at the Cardinal Creek Golf Course which occurred on 23 August 2011. The Investigations Office has exhausted all leads to this point and is in need of additional information. Due to decreasing budgets throughout the Air Force, it's getting harder and harder to find money to fix these types of issues and have a playable Golf Course. If you have any information on this damage, please contact the 375 SFS/Investigations Office at 618/256-2664.

(Option 3) For all other travel related questions your call will be answered as soon as possible.

If all travel agents are busy your call will be put on hold. When placed on hold you will have the option to continue holding or leave a voicemail. Your voicemail will be returned within 24hrs. When leaving a message, please remember to speak clearly and slowly, spell your first and last names and provide your 10 digit telephone number. This will help us ensure the agents are able to get a hold of you promptly.

TRAINING TAX ASSISTANTS - 28 NOV
If you are interested in becoming a part of the Team Scott Tax Assistance Program, the Scott AFB legal office will be hosting an IRS based-training from Nov 28- Dec 2 at the 932nd AW Auditorium from 0800-1600. In addition to seeking volunteers to assist in filing taxes for Team Scott, this year's Tax Assistance Program will also focus on using the Military Onesource website for active duty military members.

Then join Outdoor Recreation for a 2 hour ABC Basic Bicycle Maintenance Class with our "Squeaky Wheel" Bike Repair Shop expert Pat Thompson on Saturday, 22 Oct from 1000 to 1200. GHOULS & GALS GOLF TOURNAMENT - 22 OCT
Cardinal Creek Golf Course is hosting the annual Ghouls & Gals Couples Golf Tournament, Saturday, 22 Oct with a 1030 shotgun start. Format will be a two-person male/female scramble. The registration fee for this tournament is $80 per couple and $50 per couple for annual fee payers. RUNNING CLINIC - 24 Oct - 1 Dec
This 6-week progressive training program will help you improve your 1.5 mile run time by increasing running endurance and building speed. On average, this program has helped past participants improve 1.5 mile run time by 1:12! Open to reservists and active duty of all branches with times 13:15 or slower. The Mobile DMV will be out on the fourth Wednesday in Oct (26 Oct) at the Scott Club from 9-5. Normally it's the third Wednesday.

aDRESS DOMESTIC VIOLENCE RELAY - 27 OCT
Join the IDS at "aDRESS" Domestic Violence,for Domestic Violence Awareness Month 27 Oct from 1400-1600 at the James Track. Squadron teams of 4 (2 females and 2 males) will be donning men's and women's clothing and accessories for a unique 2 mile relay highlighting the impact of Domestic Violence. Madeline Long-Gill from Every Step Counts will speak and information will be available from the IDS team. A trophy will be awarded to the winning team at the end of the event. New and gently used shoes for women and children living in shelters will be collected all month long and wrap up at the race. COED BASKETBALL REGISTRATION - NOW-31 OCT
Youth interested in playing basketball can register at the Scott Youth Center from 1-31 Oct. Ages range from 5 - 16 years old. Registration will not be taken without a current physical on file or brought in at time of registration. Physicals must not expire during the season. Coaches are needed for all age groups. SCOTT AFB MOTHERS OF PRESCHOOLERS (MOPS) NEED YOUR HELP!
MOPS is an organization that serves mothers and young children. It provides a vital support system especially for mothers whose spouses are deployed. They are so short on volunteers currently that they are having to pull moms from the group, including those who have deployed spouses, to work at the meetings. With 93 registered children in the program, they can certainly use a helping hand! Meeting dates: 28 Oct, 4 Nov, 2 Dec, 16 Dec from 0845-1130.
