Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force Kaleth O. Wright highlighted the importance of resiliency during his visit with Team Dover Sept. 3 to 4.

“Stay focused, be a dreamer, dream big, set goals for yourself, and utilize the people around you to help you work through the challenges and achieve the goals that you set for yourself,” said Wright.

The visit included stops with Airmen, both active duty and reserve, throughout Dover AFB.

A portion of the visit featured the Airmen of the 512th Airlift Wing, the base’s reserve unit.

“I want every reservist to know that you are just as important to our Air Force mission as anybody else, and frankly these days, nobody can tell the difference,” said Wright. “When it comes to the overall Air Force mission, we don’t make any distinction between guardsmen, reservists and active-duty Airmen.”

The theme of resiliency also played a role.

“Take advantage of the time you do have together, that time is precious and has to be good,” said Wright. “I would say, anytime we are together on the drill weekend or during the two-weeks throughout the year, it should be game changing type time, it should be epic.”
